Jeg er gået i gang med julekortene - men vil lige vise endnu et efterårskort :) Årstidens farver tiltaler mig virkelig og da jeg åbnede Cosmo Crickets Matilda minideck fik jeg lyst til at lave flere efterårskort. De papirer er da for lækre!! Mums!

I have actually started working on some christmas cards - but I just wanted to show you another autumn card. Love the colors of this season and when I opened the Cosmo Cricket Matilda MiniDeck I just had to make more autumn cards :) Those papers are totally yummy!

Endnu et Halloween kort

Lige et hurtigt Halloween kort igen her fra mig. Jeg så Joy Taylor fra Flickr forum bruge dette stempel (Small Metal Flourish) til et Halloween - helt perfekt idé synes jeg, så det måtte jeg prøve :-)

Just a Halloween quicky from me today. I saw Joy Taylor from the flickr group using the Small Metal Flourish stamp for a Halloween card - just perfect and I had to try it :)

Høste frø / Harvesting

På denne årstid kan man faktisk finde små værtindegaver i sin have. Der er masser af frøstande som bugner af frø man kan gemme til sidste år - eller give som gave.  

I år har jeg været ude og samle frø fra Dild blomsten og Akeleje. 

This is the time of year for harvesting seeds in the garden for small gifts. This year I have been harvesting seeds of the dill plant & the Aquilegia plant.

Yes, today is my birthday and I have taken the day off and so far it has been great! Just look at this lovely bouquet of flowers which I found on the breakfast table - from my DH Jan :-) (Potter wanted to be on the pic, too)

The photo came out a bit lighter - and does not even justify how lovely these cards are IRL. It warms op my heart to receive a homemade card.  I am so lucky to get to know wonderful people through this hobby

Hero Arts Flickr Blog Hop

I am back with my second post for today!
(Btw, Fiona loves all the comments about her in my previous post - she soaks it all in and she is meoving a Thank You...)

I am joining the Hero Arts Flickr Group Blog Hop - the theme is to show off your stamping style. I find it difficult to describe my style - I wish I had a signature style :) Anyway, I do love everything in natural colors and I tend to use Kraft a lot. So this Autumn card represents me, I think :-)

 Stamps: Hero Arts Real Leaves, Hero Arts Flourish Background.

Papers: Bazzill Kraft cs, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love

Inks: Ranger distress inks (walnut stain, antique linen, rusty hinge, wild honey)

Other: Bo Bunny button, Hero Arts pearls, Twine, Text paper, EK success punch.

The leaves are stamped on cream tissue paper and cut out. It takes a bit of patience - but it helps cutting in more layers :-) The stack of maple leaves reminds me of childhood walks in the woods - I always made little bouquets of leaves like that...

Pairing up with Anne, part One

63 stempelglade piger har sagt ja til at deltage i en par-udfordring foreslået af Joy Taylor (Hero Hostess i flickr forummet). Det går ud på at man danner par med et andet medlem fra forummet, vælger et stempelsæt eller andet og udfordrer hinanden med dette. Jeg blev sat sammen med Anne fra Wisconsin.  Da både hun og jeg er ret vilde med Halloween - blev vi hurtigt enige om at vores første udfording skulle være at lave kort med Frightful sættet fra det nye Vinter katalog.

63 happy stampers from the Hero Arts flickr group joined the fun pairing up challenge suggested & arranged by Joy Taylor (Hero Hostess from the group). I am pairing up with Anne from Wisconsin. She and I share the love for halloween and we decided the first challenge was to use the wonderful "Frightful" set from the new Winter Catalog.

Her er mine 2 kort, som jeg har lavet med sættet. Det første kort - et rigtigt CAS (clean & simple) kort - det andet med et lidt mere distressed look. Katten er kun sværtet 1 gang med ranger distress ink walnut stain og derefter stemplet 3 gange. Det giver indtryk af 3 toner i samme farve. Et simple kort, hvor jeg har stemplet det spooky træ i siden med latte chalk ink.

Here are my 2 cards, the first one is a Halloween CAS card , the second one a more distressed look ;).

The cat is inked up once with Ranger Distress ink and then stamped 3 times in a row. This gives the impression of 3 different tones. I adore this cat - so cute!  Just a very simple card - stamping the spooky tree off the side with some latte chalk ink.

Paper: Hero Arts Layering paper Latte, Bazzill cream cs, Webster Pages

Inks: Hero Arts chalk ink latte, Ranger distress ink Walnut stain.

Other: Twine, EK Success Bumpy Road Punch, Paper distresser.

 

Same set - different card. I punched out some circles and stamped the smaller halloween images in black memento ink, distressed the edges and added some glossy accents.

Inks: Hero Arts chalk ink latte, Ranger distress ink Walnut stain.
